Guide to taking measurements of a child
With this guide, we want to help you correctly take a child's measurements to dress him or her in an outfit.
BACK : measure from shoulder to shoulder.
CHEST GIRDLE : Place the measuring tape around the child's torso, under the armpits, leaving enough room for a finger to fit between the measuring tape and the child.
WAIST : Place the tape measure around the body two fingers above the navel, leaving enough room for a finger to fit between the tape measure and the child.
HIP : Place the tape measure around the child's hips, leaving enough room for one finger to fit between the tape measure and the child.
SLEEVE LENGTH : Measure from the tip of the shoulder to the wrist on the outside of the arm.
PANTS LENGTH : Measure across the back, with the shoe you are going to wear on, from the waist to the top of the heel of the shoe.
We hope these tips have been helpful to you.
