Collection: The Home of the Fil

La Llar del Fil was founded in 1957. Three generations have worked in the artisanal manufacture of petticoats, underskirts, and traditional lingerie.
At first, they were dedicated to making communion dresses and petticoats, but little by little, they grew and became better known in the Fallas world for their petticoats for Valencian dresses, and little by little, the balance shifted more and more towards clothing.

They are manufacturers of petticoats and underskirts, but perhaps it is in traditional lingerie where they put all their effort and skills, year after year, to offer collections that stand out in design, beauty, and quality.

Their workshop was once located in the same building as the family home, so grandparents, children, and grandchildren practically lived alongside the seamstresses and workshop staff. They had a fabric and communion shop, while in the basement, the seamstresses sewed custom orders.

About a decade ago, they expanded their workshop and ended up moving to their current location. Needing space for pattern making, a showroom, a workshop, offices, and a warehouse, they found a place that couldn't be more in line with their philosophy.
